Inside the app

These are the screens you will use, drawn from the app itself. The four tabs across the top are Notes, My Tasks, Org and Analytics.

Organize people into groups and sub-groups

The Org tab is where the organization account builds its structure.

  • Groups nest. Add a sub-group to any group, add members, or remove them with one click.
  • Add existing or create new. Put current accounts in a group, or make new accounts and assign them immediately.
  • Accounts are named under your organization, like aisha@ms.hart.
  • Manage passwords. Re-roll a password, delete one account, or select several and delete them together.

Assign a task with a real deadline

Every task goes to one group, and everyone in it receives it.

  • Exact due time, not just a day. It defaults to 11:59 PM today.
  • Reference links and files go with the task, up to 25 MB per file.
  • Description is optional. Title, group and due time are required.
  • Deadlines are enforced. After the due time, unsubmitted tasks close.

Members see exactly what is theirs

The My Tasks tab is a member's own dashboard.

  • Status at a glance. The colored top edge and badge show not started, pending, completed, rejected or overdue.
  • Everything in one card: description, reference materials, your submission and your submitted links.
  • Last 60 days graph of your task volume over time.
  • Closed means closed. Past the due time, the card says Deadline Passed — Submissions Closed.

Hand in text, links and files in one step

Members need at least one of the three. Leaders then review it from the Org tab.

  • Text, links and files can be combined, up to 25 MB per file.
  • Verify or Reject appears next to every pending submission.
  • Whole group visible. Members who have not handed in still show as not started, so nobody hides.
  • Long lists stay tidy. Show the first three members, expand for the rest.

Analytics that answer “who is behind?”

One organization-wide report, explored by period, person, group or task. Members see only their own history.

  • Five outcomes: on time, late, in review, open and missed.
  • Seven periods: 1D, 5D, 1W, 1M, 6M, 1Y and ALL. The chart groups by hour, day, week or month to match.
  • Drill down from the whole organization to a group, a person or a single task, with breadcrumbs back.
  • Needs attention lists people with missed deadlines. Search finds any person, group or task.
  • Include sub-groups rolls child groups into a parent. Download Excel exports the current view.

Set up a whole class from one file

Add Account has a Single Account tab and an Import CSV/Excel tab.

  • Three columns: group, username, password. Header row optional.
  • Missing groups are created for you, and existing accounts are simply added to the group.
  • Blank passwords are generated for new accounts. Or set one custom password for the whole batch.
  • .csv, .xlsx or .xls, by drag and drop, file picker or pasted text.
  • Need to tidy a list first? Copy the built-in AI prompt, paste your list into any AI, and bring back clean rows.
  • Credentials are shown once after an account or an import is created, so copy them then.

Notes that keep working without a connection

Every account also has a private notes tab.

  • Written on your device first. Notes are stored locally and queued for sync, with a Synced indicator in the sidebar.
  • Autosaves as you type. Word count and reading time update live.
  • Formatting toolbar: bold, italic, underline, two heading levels, bullets, quotes, links and code.
  • Search across your notes from the sidebar or the command palette.

Keyboard shortcuts and a command palette

Press Ctrl K to run a command or jump to a note without leaving the keyboard.

  • Commands: new note, save, delete, toggle theme, switch device mode, show shortcuts, sign out.
  • Notes are searchable by title and content right in the palette.
  • Formatting keys: Ctrl B, Ctrl I and Ctrl L for bold, italic and links.

How it's built

Plain web technology, chosen to stay quick on school laptops and phones.

Vanilla JavaScript

No front-end framework. The dashboard is a single page of ES modules, so there is nothing heavy to download or hydrate.

Supabase

Postgres and Edge Functions power sign-in, organizations, tasks, notes sync and file upload and download.

IndexedDB

Notes live in your browser first, with a sync queue and an automatic sync every five seconds.

SheetJS

Reads .xlsx, .xls and .csv imports and writes your Excel exports, all inside the browser.

WebGL

A shader draws the soft aurora behind sign-in and the app, with glass panels over it. Lower End mode switches it off.

DM Serif Display and DM Sans

One serif for titles and one sans for everything else, in light and dark themes you can toggle with Ctrl J.

Tuned to your device

On your first visit, Time12 asks what you are using. It also reads reduced-motion and data-saver settings and drops to a lighter mode on its own if frames run slow. Switch any time from the button beside the theme toggle.

Higher End DeviceFull visuals, glass effects and animations
Lower End DeviceNo animations, lightweight and fast

UniClvrPass

Accounts sign in with a username and password through UniClvrPass. No email address is required.

Common questions

Who creates tasks, groups and accounts?

The organization account, meaning whoever registers. It adds groups, sub-groups and member accounts. Member accounts do not see the Add button in the Org tab.

What can a member hand in?

Text, links and files, in any combination. Files can be up to 25 MB each. At least one of the three is required.

What happens when a submission is rejected?

The task returns to the member as Rejected and they can submit again until the deadline. In Analytics it shows as Redo, and the task view says it needs resubmission.

What happens after the deadline?

A task nobody handed in is marked overdue, and the member sees Deadline Passed — Submissions Closed. Analytics counts it as missed.

Can I export results?

Yes. The Analytics tab has a Download Excel button for the current view: the whole organization, a group, a person or a single task.

Do I need an email address to sign up?

No. You register with a username and a password. Accounts you create for members use the same, named under your organization.

Does it work offline?

Notes do. They are saved on your device first and sync when you are back online. Tasks and submissions need a connection.
